Segment Sealing Gaskets
PDT Profiles
Since 1968, PDT has been developing compression seals for tunnels produced with shield tunnelling machines that are lined with prefabricated segments of steel or reinforced concrete.
Diverse Profile Geometries
Since the pilot project "New Elbe Tunnel" in 1969, PDT has responded to the constantly growing demands by developing more than 50 different profile geometries which are in use in more than 200 tunnel projects all over the world.
Special Solutions
In addition to the standard range illustrated here, PDT also offers special solutions. This successfully covers the bandwidth of different demands, starting with supply and disposal pipes through to major traffic tunnel projects.

The innovative seal: Anchored within the concrete tubing, this option offers an array of advantages with regard to safety and installation. These seals do not require adhesive and therefore they also save on labour costs and negate the need for environmental precautions to be taken. |

A particular speciality: The "Evolution Seal” combines two different sealing technologies – a compression seal and a hydro-swelling strip. Using this system the capsulated hydro-swelling strip offers additional safety without the typical disadvantages. |
