EPDM Hydrophilic Material / Hydrophilic Seals

PDT hydrophilic EPDM material has been specially developed for use in our "evolutive" seals for permanent sealing of concrete segments. For the first time, we have managed to make use of the outstanding properties of EPDM polymer also for hydrophilic material.

This has achieved a considerable quantum leap in technology with regard to durability and chemical resistance. The surface of the material is coated to reduce friction. This guarantees a smooth installation procedure on site.

Innovative Seals and Particular Specialities
	The efficiency of swellable systems depends crucially on the ratio between increase in volume and the build-up of forces in the embedded system. Here PDT's hydrophilic EPDM material has been consistently aligned to the demands of the PDT compression seal.
