PDT appearance at the InnoTrans

September 2010

InnoTrans, 21st to 24th of September 2010, in Berlin

More than 100,000 trade visitors, 52 world premieres of innovative products and an increase in exhibitors from around 17 percent.
In its eighth edition InnoTrans 2010, the world's leading trade fair for rail transport technology, was presented in Berlin greater than ever before. More than 2,200 exhibitors showcased their outstanding work. Once again it was obvious that only the highest quality leads to access to the highly competitive railway market.

Under the motto "Length is our strength" PDT Profiles presented itself in a new modern look. The large inlet and the many positive reactions confirmed the innovative look in corporate design.

For maintaining existing contacts and developing new business contacts this fair was an ideal platform. The great popularity, especially regarding the RCS (Rail Comfort System) has exceeded our expectations. For many visitors our RCS model was a great attraction, showing the production of rubber profiles from the extrusion to the final installation of the article.

The patented Rail Comfort System (RCS) insulates the track from the adjoining superstructure extensively reducing vibrations and structure-borne sounds from tram traffic. The individual system components meet the highest technical requirements and are manufactured in the extrusion process. This allows us to offer every possible length which is very attractive for many customers. The system "RCS" can achieve insulation values that are many times below the benchmark of the current standard (2.5 S / Km acc. DIN EN 50122-2), while the installation is easy and safe.

Peter Nitt, Product Manager of PDT Profiles is very satisfied with the show: "From our perspective, the trade is an absolute success. We had the opportunity to deepen existing relationships as well as make new contacts. In international business there was increased interest in our high-quality products and systems from Turkey, Japan and Belarus. We will evaluate and pursue these contacts."

Tobias Toczkowski, product manager for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Eastern Europe was also very content with the fair and the associated contacts, transactions and experience: "You can see clearly that our system is more and more enforced".

Nothing can prevent our optimistic view of the future after this fair and on a long-term view we hope to have recorded many new cities in Europe and beyond on our "RCS-map".
